Paula Corlett Mintek
About Paula Corlett Mintek:
Paula received a BS in Art from the University of Wisconsin. She then earned a Masters in Art Therapy from Hahnemann Graduate School in Philadelphia. Years later, she developed the curriculum and taught Gifted-Talented Art classes for Allegan Public Schools for eight years. She was also an art teacher in Allegan County Special Ed classrooms for several years, sponsored by Very Special Arts.
While raising her children she kept her hand in art by designing cards and logos and by creating illustrations for various organizations’ projects. In more recent years, she has been focusing on making necklaces from a variety of materials, making note cards based on her photography, and jumping back into pastels and oil painting. She often says “I love to dabble in many different art forms but I’m truly a master of none.”
Photo examples include mosaic bird bath, painted chair back, painted bowl, note card, bracelets.
