The 3rd Annual Art Clash Artist Competition will take place at Daily Brews Coffee Cafe at 128 S Main St, Downtown Wayland from February 20th thru April 13th. Fifty artists will compete for cash prizes; the winner will be determined by public vote. Prizes are $100, $25, and $15. Other non-cash awards are the “Student Choice Award”, (the High School Art Class takes a field trip and votes), and new this year, the “Competition Award” chosen by the artists themselves. Artists can drop off one piece of art between 6am and 6pm Monday thru Friday and 8am thru 1pm on Saturdays. Deadline to enter is February 10th at 1pm. Art must be able and ready to hang on the wall. Entry fee is $15 and every Artist gets a tee shirt. New this year will be an Artist Open House/ Lunch, sponsored by Jen Antel’s Pampered Chef on March 3rd at 1pm. Our other sponsors include I.T.C., Hastings City Bank, K.O. Design, and Daily Brews Coffee Cafe. Last year we had 54 Artists participate. Interested? Download this Art Clash 2012 Entry Form 2.
